When I am done with my zero and I am shooting for fun, I usually shoot until my groups start to spread out, usually after 5-6 shots, I then use the alcohol again only now I will pull the nipple and drop it into a small container with alcohol in it and put on a clean nipple. When zeroing I use alcohol soaked patches between every shot, It will remove fouling, and alcohol dries almost instantly so no hang fires or misfires from solvent left in the barrel. When I go to the range I like to shoot, I have at times shot over 75 rounds and almost always 50, I find that my first round from a totally clean and dry barrel is the most accurate, Because I zeroed it that way.
